FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND - OLD FORGE, NY

Fri June 15 Meet Me at the Library Gazebo - 5pm at the Old Forge Library. Once a month during June, July and August you are invited to enjoy live music in the Gazebo from 5-6:00 p.m. Bring your own blanket or chair. On Friday June 15, the Adirondack duo of Jim and Bonnie Tracy will entertain you. They have been playing music together since 1979 and enjoy performing traditional music, old time country, piedmont blues and folk revival music from the 1960's.

Fri June 15 Annual Father's Day Car Show Parade - 7pm down Main Street in Old Forge

Fri June 15 April Verch Band - 8pm at VIEW. A trifecta of talent, keeping tradition feisty,April Verch steps, sings, and fiddles with a fresh and feisty approach to deep North American traditions. Sat June 16 Annual Father’s Day Weekend Car Show - 9am -3pm.at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center in Old Forge. Cash prizes to the two best of show winners, dash plaques, trophies, auto related vendors and swap meet, food and beverages. (315) 369-6983.

Sun June 17 Annual Father’s Day Frog Jumping and Ugly Tie Contest - Noon on the Old Forge lakefront. Children can bring their champion frog to win prizes and fathers should wear their most outrageous tie! Largest, smallest, and longest jumper. Great family fun! Don’t worry, all frogs are released unharmed.
